Editing Extracted Content
The content editor lets you review and refine extracted document content before it enters your project knowledge base.
Reviewing a Document
Once a document reaches Ready status, you can open it in the document viewer. The viewer shows:
- The original source document (PDF or image view)
- An editable content panel alongside it
This side-by-side layout makes it easy to compare the original page against the extracted content and identify anything that needs correction.
Editing Content
The content editor gives you full control over what becomes part of your knowledge base.
You can:
- Edit any extracted paragraph, heading, or block directly
- Insert, update, or delete content
- Use the built-in equation editor to work with mathematical notation
- Edit figure labels, captions, and associated narrative
- Reorder or restructure content blocks
All edits update the searchable knowledge index automatically—there is no separate publish step. This means that as soon as you save a correction, the improved content is immediately available in chat and downstream workflows.
Exporting Edited Content
Processed and edited document content can be exported in:
| Format | Use Case |
|---|---|
| Markdown | Technical documentation, version control, and other writing workflows |
| Microsoft Word | Handoff, review, and integration into existing document workflows |
