Findings

The Findings tab is the working list for a package. The table is on the left and the selected finding opens beside it.

Similar findings can appear as one row. Each finding keeps its own disposition. Use Expand all rows to see every occurrence.

Filter, search, and save views

Use the filter button to filter by Type, Severity, Resolution, Disposition, Assignee (including Assigned to me and Unassigned), Discipline, Due (Overdue, Due in 7 days, No due date), and Has comments. Chips show the active filters. Click a chip to remove it.

The search button (Search sheet or section) filters by sheet number or specification section.

Views saves a set of filters. Built-in views are Default, My open, Overdue, Unassigned, and High open. To save your own, enter a View name, tick Personal view if only you should see it, and click Save view. A project view is visible to everyone on the project.

Work a Finding

Click a row to open it. Use the previous and next buttons to walk the filtered list, and Close finding to return to the table.

Read the evidence

A finding quotes the text it is based on. When a finding has two sides, such as two statements that conflict, they are shown as sources, not as a right answer and a wrong one. Click Open page, Open detail, or Open text to see the source beside the finding. The quoted words are marked on the page when the page text contains them.

Decide

In Disposition, choose one:

ConfirmThe finding is real
DismissThe finding is not an issue
Accept riskIt is real and you are leaving it
Needs follow upYou need more information
CorrectedThe documents have been fixed

Add an optional note before you click. Clear removes the latest disposition. Your disposition history is listed below, and you can edit or delete a note. When a row stands for several occurrences, the disposition applies to all of them.

To postpone an item to a later design phase, choose a phase under Defer to phase and click Defer.

Track

Set Resolution, Assignee, Type, and Discipline on the finding, and set a due date. Add reviewer notes under Add a comment.

Responses records a reply from the designer or owner. Enter a Respondent and a Response. Comments stay reviewer notes.

Details shows confidence scores for how well the source was read, how sure the link is, and how sure the judgment is. History lists changes to the finding.

Add a Finding

If you spot something the review did not, click Add finding. Enter a Title, an Explanation, the document, the page, and a Verbatim quote. Title, document, and page are required. The package PDF opens beside the form.

After a Rerun

Running Review Package again updates this list instead of replacing it. Your dispositions, comments, assignments, and responses stay with a finding when the issue is the same.

Some findings close on their own when a later run can see that a missing item is now present. Others stay until you set Resolution yourself. A later run does not automatically close a conflict it no longer repeats, and it does not close findings from the first-pass read of design reports and calculations.
